Asian Sun Martial Arts Green Akron on East Turkeyfoot Lake Road has been building Black Belt Champions for over 30 years across the Cleveland/Akron area, with Taekwondo and Karate as core disciplines plus Kickboxing crossover and a Krav Maga offering for older students.
Kids Taekwondo
Age-tiered taekwondo and karate curriculum that starts at age 3. Programs include:
- Little Tigers Taekwondo (ages 3-5)
- Kids Taekwondo
- Kids Karate
- Kids Kickboxing
- Teen and Adult TKD / Karate / Kickboxing
- Krav Maga for older students

- Uniform with starter package
- Color-belt rank testing
- Coach-led forms (poomsae), kicking drills and partner work
- Life-skills emphasis (mind, body, spirit) threaded into classes
Experience
30+ years of operating multi-location TKD/karate school with a clear character framework and consistent rank progression. Younger kids work on focus, listening and basic kicking through games; older kids cycle through forms, sparring and rank testing, with optional kickboxing or Krav Maga crossover as they mature.
