The Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre on Marietta Boulevard is Atlanta Ballet's flagship Centre for Dance Education facility, founded in 1996 by one of the Southeast's most respected ballet companies. The connection to Atlanta Ballet gives students access to guest teachers from the professional company and a direct pipeline through the Student Division (ages 7+) toward pre-professional training.

Classes for Ages 2 & Up

Non-competitive programs alongside Student Division. Classes include:
- Parent-Child classes (ages 2-3)
- Early Childhood dance (ages 3-6)
- Student Division classes (ages 7+, ballet focus)
- Jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary
- Pre-professional Student Division track
- Summer programs at Buckhead and Virginia-Highland Centres
