Fine Arts School at Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center
Bemis School of Art is the teaching arm of Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College, offering art classes for children and teens across drawing, painting, ceramics, and portfolio development. Scholarships are available for qualifying students.
Programs by Age Group
Classes run in winter/spring and summer sessions organized by age. Programs include:
- Ages 2-4: introductory art with participating adult
- Ages 6-9: Little Sketchers, Little Clay Creators, and more
- Ages 9-12: wheel throwing, acrylic painting, handbuilding
- Ages 13-16: Clay Lab, Foundations of Acrylic Painting for Teens
- Rising 11th-12th graders: portfolio development program

Experience
Bemis School of Art combines technical skill-building with creative expression for students ages 2 through high school. Its location within a Fine Arts Center gives students access to a working arts institution alongside their instruction.
