Century-Old Urban Nature Sanctuary in Portland's West Hills
Bird Alliance of Oregon (formerly Portland Audubon) runs year-round youth nature programs out of their 172-acre wildlife sanctuary at 5151 NW Cornell Rd. Kids explore forests, creeks, and live wildlife on-site.
Youth Programs
Long-running environmental education for grades 1 through 8. Programs include:
- SWIFTS Summer Camps (grades 1–8, 10 weeks)
- Winter Break Camps (elementary and middle)
- Spring Break Camps
- Outdoor School overnight programs (Sandy, OR site)
- Year-round youth learning events
