Blackout Theatre Company was founded in Albuquerque in 2007 with a mission to engage and ignite community with innovative storytelling by and for New Mexicans. The company runs education programs at three levels (elementary, high school, college) and operates a Newport Court venue with a performance style that incorporates theatrical, media, musical and studio arts.

Programs for Kids

Tiered education programming spans elementary through college-level theater. Programs include:

- Traveling High School Drama Festival

- Original new-works productions
