Charlotte Checkers AHL Home Arena
Bojangles Coliseum is the 8,600-seat indoor arena on E Independence Boulevard in Charlotte, the home rink of the AHL Charlotte Checkers since 2015 and one of the oldest still-operating ice venues in the southeastern US (built 1955). The arena hosts Checkers home games, the annual Learn to Play hockey program for first-time kids, plus Jr. Checkers youth hockey league play.
