Bommer Canyon Preserve is part of Irvine's Open Space Preserve - a former cattle ranch now protected as Irvine Ranch Natural Landmark. The 4.7-mile trail starts in an old cattle camp and continues through oak woodlands and meadows.

Trails open daily for self-guided hikes, mountain biking, and seasonal horseback riding. Programs include:
