LEGO Mindstorms Robotics at Boys & Girls Clubs

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley runs a LEGO Robotics program for ages 10-18 across multiple Phoenix-metro branches. The 20-hour program spans five weeks and culminates in a competition.

Programs for Kids and Teens

Two grade bands run separately. Program covers:
- Grades 6-8 LEGO robotics
- Grades 9-12 LEGO robotics
- LEGO Mindstorms construction
- Robot coding fundamentals
- End-of-program competition

What's Included

• LEGO Mindstorms kits supplied at the club
• Five-week, 20-hour curriculum
• BGC member access at participating branches
• Branch locations include: Jerry Colangelo, Arizona Diamondbacks, Warner & Shirley Gabel, UMOM, Heatherbrae Elementary partnership (Phoenix), and Superstition Mountain (Apache Junction)
