Wildlife Hospital and Raptor Nature Center
Cascades Raptor Center is a wildlife hospital and nature center specializing in rescuing and rehabilitating birds of prey. Established in 1987, the center houses about 50 non-releasable resident raptors across roughly 30 species, most native to Oregon, in outdoor aviaries connected by easy walking paths.
Family Programs
Self-guided visits and scheduled education programs. Programs include:
- Outdoor aviaries for hawks, owls, eagles, and other raptors
- Easy walking paths through wooded grounds
- Signed exhibits with bird natural history
- Animal talks (seasonal)
- Field trips and group tours by appointment

Great pick for families with kids 3+ interested in birds. Plan 1-2 hours. Bring questions; volunteers walk you through bird stories. Combine with Spencer Butte for a half-day.
