Production-Focused Youth Academy at Downtown Center for the Arts
Center Stage Academy is the youth-training arm of the Center for the Arts, downtown Murfreesboro's community arts venue. Programming spans elementary creative drama through production-track classes that mount full main-stage Broadway-type musicals each season.
Programs for Kids
Eight-week sessions run fall, winter, and spring with summer intensives mixed in. Programs include:
- Elementary One Performers (grades K-2, creative drama)
- Creative Drama (grades 3-6)
- Production Programming (grades 3-6, 6-9, 9-12)
- Show Stoppers vocal intensive (grades 6-9)
- Level Up intensive (grades 6-12)
- Technical Theatre (grades 6-12)
- Audition-based CFTA Teen Company
