Three-Week Teen Performance Intensive at Major Charleston Venue

The Charleston Gaillard Center runs a three-week Summer Youth Theater Intensive for ages 13-18, led by PURE Theatre's Michael Smallwood, culminating in a full production performed at the Gaillard Center on Calhoun Street.

Teen Theater Program

Intensive format covers vocal and physical acting work over three weeks. Offerings include:
- Summer Youth Theater Intensive (ages 13-18, three weeks)
- Vocalization training
- Characterization work
- Motivation and intent analysis
- Movement training
- Blocking and staging
- Full production (e.g. Failure: A Love Story)
- 9am-3pm Monday-Friday schedule
- Scholarships available

Experience
