Community Theatre on South Elm Street
Community Theatre of Greensboro (CTG) is the city's long-running community theatre, with an award-winning Centerstage Youth Performing Group and a broad menu of camps and classes for kids and teens.
Kids and Teen Theatre Programs
Programming spans grades K-12 across multiple program tracks. Offerings include:
- Theatre Classes focusing on musical theatre, ensemble, and stage presence
- Theatre Camps and production camps for ages 7-18 (two-week Junior productions)
- Centerstage audition-only group for experienced performers in grades 3-12
- Drama Time after-school program for grades K-8 with music, movement, and acting

Experience
Students progress through age-tier classes into the Centerstage youth ensemble, where audition-only students work with professional instructors on acting, musical theatre, and dance toward full productions.
