About
Atlanta's Longest-Running Improv Stage Opens Its Rehearsal Room to Kids
Dad's Garage Theatre has been teaching Atlanta to think on its feet for three decades, and its youth camps bring that same "yes, and" philosophy to elementary and middle schoolers at the 569 Ezzard Street home in Old Fourth Ward.

- Six-week improv classes for older teens
What's Included
- Daily games, scenework, and ensemble exercises led by working Dad's Garage improvisers
- Culminating performance on a real theater stage with lights and audience
- Free show tickets for teen-class students to most Dad's Garage mainstage productions
- Diversity and financial-aid scholarships available (first-come, first-served)
Experience
The vibe is scrappy, playful, and kind - the show's signature brand of irreverent comedy gets filtered into age-appropriate games where the goal is making your scene partner look good. Great for expressive kids, class clowns channeling their energy, or shy ones building confidence.
