German Cultural Center in Lincoln Square
DANK Haus is Chicagoland's German-American cultural hub in historic Lincoln Square, running one of the deepest German-for-kids programs in the region. It's a non-profit 501(c)3 covering ages from 6 months through high school graduation, with heritage and immersion tracks under one roof.
Programs for Kids & Teens
- Kinderschule weekday preschool and kindergarten (MoβFr, full or half day)
- Saturday Heritage School for ages 6 months through 18 years
- ParentβTot Group every Tuesday 10am for children up to 4
- Summer Camps split into Kreative Kinder (ages 3β9) and Theater Kinder (ages 10β14)
- Deutsche Sprachdiplom II exam prep for advanced teens (ages 14β18)
