Free Youth Arts Center in Downtown Aurora
Downtown Aurora Visual Arts (DAVA) is a nonprofit arts organization providing free, high-quality arts programming for young people. All programming is free to participants.
Programs for Ages 3 and Up
Family and youth programs run on weekday mornings and in specialized tracks. Programs include:
- Family Arts Program (ages 3-5, Wed & Fri 10am-Noon, free, drop-in): clay, paint, collage, mixed media, snack and story time, cultural storytelling
- Open Studio
- Job Training Studio Arts I & II (teens and young adults)
- Job Training Digital Arts & Tech I & II
- Film & Animation program
What's Included
- All programming free
- Materials provided for Family Arts classes
- Cultural storytelling and fine motor skill development integrated into youngest programs
Experience
DAVA's mission is to create a free and accessible arts community for all Aurora youth. The Family Arts program is drop-in with no reservations required, making it easy for families to participate on short notice.
