Elevated Studios Martial Arts is Wilmington's beginner-friendly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy at 34A Trolley Sq Suite A, in the historic Trolley Square neighborhood - a walkable, bar-and-restaurant district between downtown Wilmington and Brandywine Park. The academy is purposely structured to be approachable for new students, with free intro classes requiring no experience, women-only training blocks, beginner and advanced jiu-jitsu tracks, and dedicated kids programming so families can train across the same week.
Kids Martial Arts Programs
Kids BJJ is split by age into developmentally scaled tracks:
- YOUTH 1 (ages 5-8): games-based ukemi, simple frame and posture, first positional escapes, guard-to-mount-to-side-control progression
- YOUTH 2 (older kids): takedowns scaled to bodyweight, guard play, escapes from pins, early submission chains
- Beginner and advanced jiu-jitsu tracks
- Women-only training blocks
