Montclair's Premiere Theater Arts School

Essex Youth Theater has been Montclair's premiere theater arts school for young people for over 30 years, in residence at The Studio Playhouse in Upper Montclair.

Kids Theater Programs

Programs use custom-written scripts to guarantee equal roles for every student. Offerings include:
- Classes for students ages 6-13
- Monday-Friday day camp format 9 AM-2:30 PM
- Full-scale musical production each semester
- Custom-written scripts ensuring every camper gets a part
- Small class size with individual attention
