Flamingo Gardens in Davie (west of Fort Lauderdale) is a 60-acre botanical garden and Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary. The site combines South Florida's oldest and last remaining jungle forest with 3,000+ plant species, 22 Florida Champion Trees, rescued native wildlife (panthers, alligators, flamingos, eagles), and the historic Wray Home Museum.
