Fluid Martial Arts Academy on S. McClintock Drive

Fluid Martial Arts Academy sits on S. McClintock Drive in Tempe and is one of the few East Valley schools to offer dedicated Kodokan-style judo as a regular weekly program rather than a side curriculum bolted onto BJJ. Alongside judo, the academy runs an integrated youth program covering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kenpo karate, and Muay Thai kickboxing, so students can specialize or cross-train without changing schools.

Kids Martial Arts Programs

Youth Judo runs Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM for ages 6-13, built on the standard progression. Programs include:
- Youth Judo (ukemi, then osoto-gari, ouchi-gari, seoi-nage, harai-goshi, tai-otoshi, plus ne-waza pins and escapes)
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kenpo karate, and Muay Thai kickboxing for ages 3-15
- Adult Judo and a Saturday "Judo for Jiu-Jitsu and MMA" session
