Fresno Chinese Gospel Church Chinese School

Sunday Chinese Classes in Northeast Fresno

Fresno Chinese Gospel Church Chinese School runs Sunday Mandarin classes at its Teague Avenue location. As one of Fresno's few established Chinese-language options for children, the school offers leveled instruction from preschool through advanced.

Programs by Level

Classes group students by ability and age on Sunday afternoons:

• Preschool Mandarin (ages 4-6)
• Beginning Chinese for early elementary
• Intermediate Chinese
• Advanced Chinese for older children
• Adult classes for parents learning alongside kids

What's Included

• 90-minute Sunday class sessions (1:30-3:00 PM)
• Age- and level-based grouping
• Traditional character and phonics instruction
• Cultural activities integrated into coursework
• Multi-level structure supporting long-term progression

Experience

The school fits Fresno families who want serious Chinese instruction in a low-cost community setting. The church-affiliated format means a welcoming community, and the multi-level structure lets kids progress over years rather than aging out of a single-level program.
