Fresno Discovery Center - 5.5-Acre Family Science Center

Non-profit family science center open since 1954, located on 5.5 acres of outdoor exhibits, play structures, gardens, and live animals near the airport in east Fresno. The grounds include the historic Roessler Winery building (1892) plus a modern visitor and exhibits center.

Programs for Kids

Education programming year-round. Programs include:
- Engaging on-site field trips (elementary, middle school, homeschool)
- Off-site field trip programs
- Live animal exhibits and encounters
- Self-guided outdoor and indoor exhibits

Experience
