Germantown's Youth Flag and Tackle Football

Germantown Football League (GFL) is a community-based volunteer organization that partners with the City of Germantown to provide recreation youth flag and tackle football plus cheerleading. The league serves children ages 5 to 12 with the home base at Houston Levee Field behind Houston High School.

Football and Cheer Programs

Flag and tackle football alongside cheer. Programs include:
- Flag football for younger players
- Tackle football across age divisions ages 5 to 12
- Cheer program for football season
- Peanut Bowl championship in November

What's Included

• Houston Levee Field 3 behind Houston High School
• Cameron Brown Park used as additional game location
• Speed and conditioning sessions in June and July

Experience

The season builds with summer conditioning, late-July evaluations, August draft and jamboree, and games through November. The City of Germantown partnership provides parks-and-recreation backing alongside the volunteer-run league.
