U of M's Recreation & Wellness Center runs Gopher Swim School at Harvard Street SE - affordable university-affiliated lessons with a Minnesota fish-themed level progression and CPR/First Aid-certified instructors.

Fish-Named Progressive Levels

Six level tracks for ages 6 months through adult. Programs include:
- Trout - 6 months-3 years parent/child
- Bass - 3-5 years preschool
- Pike - 5-12 years Youth Levels 1-6
- Muskie - 8-13 years advanced stroke + endurance
- Adult Levels 1-3 (16+)
- Private lessons + assessment on request

What's Included

• $85 for 6 weeks - university-subsidized pricing
• Two sessions (Sept-Dec, Jan-May)
