San Diego's Original Lacrosse Training Organization Since 1984
Great Western Lacrosse is the longest-running lacrosse training entity in San Diego, founded in 1984 and operating year-round indoor leagues at Sportsplex USA Poway plus summer camps at Cal State San Marcos. The organization trains boys grades 5-12 across recreational, tournament, and elite competitive levels.
Programs for Boys Grades 5-12
Year-round development pipeline anchored by the indoor league season. Programs include:
- Fall Indoor Lacrosse League (September-October)
- Winter Training and Skills Clinics
- San Diego Spiders Tournament Travel Teams (grades 6-10)

Experience
The indoor league format offers Southern California's lacrosse players a year-round option distinct from the spring-only outdoor season, with six 30-minute practices prior to the first six games. Specialty summer tracks cover shooting, face-off, goalie, defense, and beginner positions.
