Brooklyn Tackle Football Club

Greenpoint Spartans is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth tackle football organization based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, practicing at McCarren Park. The club fields around 70 players from across NYC each season.

Football Programs for Kids

The Spartans run two age-based tackle teams competing in the New York City Youth Football League. Programs include:
- Pee Wee Division (Ages 10-12)
- Bantam Division (Ages 13-14)

What's Included

NYCYFL league play and certified game officials
Coaching staff with playing experience
McCarren Park practice field
Summer pre-season conditioning (Wed 6-8 PM, Sat 9-11 AM)
Fall season practices (Wednesdays 6-8 PM) plus weekend games

Experience

Kids learn tackle fundamentals plus team play in a club focused on Leadership, Excellence and Character. Suited for players ready for full-pad football and a season-long commitment.
