Accessible Nonprofit Teaching Kitchen in Cedarburg

Happy Place Cooking Space is a nonprofit commercial teaching kitchen in Cedarburg (Milwaukee metro) opened June 2025 as the fixed-venue sibling of More Happy Kitchens. Programming spans ages 2 through tween, with a deliberate accessibility focus for kids of all abilities.

Kids Programs

• Prep School - six-week, small-group skills-focused program building real kitchen confidence
• Day off of School Class - ages 5-12, hands-on full-day workshops on no-school days
• Big Kids and Tweens tracks
• Toddler and preschool age-appropriate sessions

Experience

Accessibility-first design means the space works for kids of various physical and developmental abilities, not only typically-developing kids. Prep School's six-week skills arc differs from drop-in models - kids build measurable cooking competence over the program. Cedarburg location serves the north and northwest Milwaukee metro.
