Hoover City Schools public 9-12 high school - one of Alabama's largest high schools by enrollment. Hoover Buccaneers field boys' lacrosse through Greater Birmingham Youth Lacrosse Association (GBYLA) + Alabama Lacrosse League. Hoover Youth Lacrosse Organization (HYLO, hooverlacrosse.com) provides youth feeder pipeline.
