Summer Tech Camps at UC San Diego

iD Tech runs week-long summer camps on the UC San Diego campus in La Jolla. Day-camp and overnight options serve ages 7-17 from late June through early August.

Programs for Kids

Each session is one week, with kids picking a topic at signup. Programs include:
- Coding (Python, C#, Java)
- Game development (Roblox, Minecraft modding, Unreal Engine)
- Robotics (BattleBots, VEX)
- 3D printing and modeling
- AI and machine learning
- Creative design with Adobe and Blender

• Instruction on UCSD campus facilities
• Day-camp or overnight session formats
• Equipment and software for use during the week

Experience

Best fit for a kid ready for a focused tech week rather than year-round weekly classes. La Jolla campus setting and instructor-led labs work well for older kids ready to commit to one topic.
