About
Summer Tech Camps at SF State
iD Tech runs week-long summer camps on the San Francisco State University campus. Day-camp options serve ages 7-17 from mid-June through late July, plus 2-week teen academies.
Programs for Kids
Each session is one week, with kids picking a topic at signup. Programs include:
- Coding (C#, Python)
- Game design (Roblox, Minecraft modding, Unreal Engine)
- Robotics and BattleBots
- 3D printing and modeling
- AI and machine learning
- Data science
- Creative design with Adobe
- Teen academies (2-week intensives)
- Virtual camps and online private lessons
What's Included
- Instruction on SFSU campus facilities
- Day-camp format
- Equipment and software for use during the week
- Small-group format with USA-based instructors
Experience
Best fit for a kid ready for a focused tech week rather than year-round weekly classes. Campus setting and instructor-led labs work well for older kids ready to commit to one topic.
