About
Lakewood's Structured Art School for Kids and Teens
Imaginarium School of Art runs a robust year-round program from its Mockingbird Lane campus in Lakewood, plus a University Park studio at 7202 W Northwest Highway. Rather than drop-in painting, Imaginarium offers serious, curriculum-based art education.
After-School and Weekend Classes
The annual program runs August through May. Options include:
- Drawing
- Cartoons & graphic design
- Architecture & interior design
- Sewing & fiber arts, plus crochet
- Lego robotics
What's Included
- Most classes approximately $200/month
- Family art classes (parent + child together)
- Educational art parties for kids and teens
- On-campus after-school partnerships at area schools
- Scholarships available
Experience
A far more structured art education than the paint-your-own-pottery studios - kids actually develop real skills semester over semester. Great fit for the child who wants to learn architecture, fashion, or graphic design in addition to fine art. University Park location for the Park Cities families.
