The Jacksonville Japanese School (JJS) is a nonprofit weekend Japanese school on Summer Haven Boulevard South, founded in 2011 by Japanese parents who wanted their children to learn the language and culture in Florida. It meets for three hours on Saturdays across 37 weeks of the year.

Language Programs

Classes follow a grade-leveled path for children, with adult options too. Programs include:
- Pre-K and Kindergarten level class for ages 5 and 6
- Six elementary classes, first through sixth grade
- Middle school classes, seventh through ninth grade
- Courses for children and adults ages 2 to 17
