Royal Oak's Community Ice Arena
The John Lindell Ice Arena is Royal Oak's city-operated indoor ice rink, serving the inner-ring suburbs north of Detroit. The arena is home to the Royal Oak Eagles travel hockey program, the Falcons B Hockey program, and the New Edge Figure Skating Club, alongside its own Learn to Skate school and public skate calendar.

Experience
Beginners spend early sessions on falling safely, balance, and forward strokes before adding stops, turns, and crossovers. The arena's combination of in-house, B-level, and travel teams means players can progress through multiple competitive levels without changing rinks.
