Seattle Kraken's Three-Sheet Community Practice Facility
Kraken Community Iceplex is the official practice facility of the NHL Seattle Kraken, a three-sheet NHL-regulation ice complex on 5th Avenue NE at Northgate Station. Opened in 2021 as the Kraken's foundational community investment, the Iceplex hosts the Kraken Skating Academy plus youth and adult hockey leagues, learn-to-play sessions, public skate, and 15-20 weekly public skating windows.
Programs For Kids
Programming covers the full Kraken youth pipeline. Programs include:
- Kraken Skating Academy Learn to Skate (ages 3+, 7-week sessions)
- NHL Learn to Play Hockey 1 (intro class, free equipment kit)
- Youth hockey leagues (co-ed and girls-only divisions)
- Adult hockey leagues
- Figure skating instruction
- Stick and puck and freestyle hours
- Hockey camps and clinics
- Public skating sessions (15-20 per week)
