PGA Pro Instruction at Heroes Golf Course in West LA

LA Golf Academy is run by PGA Teaching Professional Carlos R. Rodriguez at Heroes Golf Course on the west side of LA. Junior lessons are available 7 days a week for ages 9–17, with a dedicated Saturday session for ages 7–8. Equipment is provided for kids who don't have their own clubs.

Junior Programs

Private, small group, and camp formats:
- Junior Lessons ages 9–17 — 90-minute sessions, $225 + $20 green fee, available 7 days/week 9 AM to sunset
- Junior Lessons ages 7–8 — 60-minute Saturday sessions at 11 AM, $120 + $20 green fee
- Small group lessons (friends/family) — 60 minutes, $150/person
- Seasonal camps during spring, summer, fall, and winter breaks

  • Equipment provided (right and left-handed clubs available)
  • Full curriculum: grip, swing, stance, balance, teeing, pitching, chipping, putting, club selection, course management, rules, etiquette

LA Golf Academy offers the most flexible scheduling of any junior program on the west side — 7-day availability from 9 AM to sunset means families can fit lessons around school and activities. Equipment lending removes the entry barrier, and the Veterans Administration campus setting at Heroes Golf Course provides a quiet, dedicated space away from LA traffic.
