West Metro youth tackle football governing league since 1961

Lake Minnetonka Athletic Association (LMAA) governs youth tackle football for grades 1-8 across six west metro communities: Hopkins, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, Edina, St. Louis Park, and Wayzata/Plymouth. Established 1961, the league sets shared rules, schedules, and officiating standards.

Experience

LMAA's long history produces continuity across local communities - many alumni return as coaches. Players experience competitive games against neighboring towns each weekend during the fall season.
