Mahan Drive Traditional Judo Club
Leon County Judo Club on Mahan Drive is the longest-serving judo club in the Tallahassee area, with a dedicated kids hour three evenings a week.
Kids Judo
Children's class Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6-7pm, covering ukemi, throws and groundwork. Programs include:
- Kids Judo
- Judo for Self-Defense
- Judo for Competition
- Adult Judo
What's Included
- Mats and rental gi for trial classes
- USA Judo affiliated instruction
- Promotion testing
Experience
Traditional Kodokan-style judo in a community-club setting. Kids learn falling first, then standing throws and pin transitions, with optional tournament participation as they earn higher belts.
