Limestone Quarry Park
About
17-Acre Park With Hidden Waterfall
Limestone Quarry Park is a 17-acre Frisco neighborhood park with a quirky hidden feature - a small intermittent waterfall on West Rowlett Creek behind the playground that streams for 5-10 minutes then stops for 15. The Taychas Trail connects through the park for longer walks.
What Kids Can Do
The hidden waterfall behind the main playground is the family hunt - walk to the middle of the park to the playground, find the bench behind it, then take the dirt footpath to West Rowlett Creek where the waterfall streams from a limestone outcrop. Playground with climbing structures and slides. Picnic areas with shaded pavilions. Taychas Trail provides 4 miles of paved connection to other neighborhoods [marked: waterfall not flowing all the time - listen for the rush 5-10 minutes at a time].
What's Included
Free day-use of playground, trails, picnic pavilions, and waterfall area. Pavilions reservable through Play Frisco.
