Milwaukee County Zoo - 200 Acres on the West Side
200-acre zoo on Milwaukee's west side, operated by Milwaukee County and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee. The zoo houses 1,800+ animals across themed habitats including Africa, Aquatic & Reptile Center, Apes of Africa, and the Northwestern Mutual Family Farm.

Experience
Milwaukee families use the Zoo as a year-round destination, with indoor centers covering Wisconsin winters. The Bluemound Road location is on the west side near I-894 and Highway 100.
