Eastern Boulevard Judo Club Inside Guerilla Fitness
Montgomery Judo Academy runs out of the Guerilla Fitness sports complex on Eastern Boulevard, giving the club access to a dedicated mat space inside a larger multi-sport facility. The club teaches kids, teens and adults with a kids age band of 6-12.
Kids Judo
Dedicated kids judo program built on traditional Kodokan fundamentals. Programs include:
- Kids Judo (ages 6-12)
- Teen Judo
- Adult Judo
- Self-defense applications
- Optional tournament participation
What's Included
- Mats and rental gi for trial classes
- USJA / USA Judo affiliated instruction
- Promotion testing through colored belts
Experience
Traditional judo in a club setting tucked inside a larger sports complex, which makes it easy for parents to combine training with other family fitness. Kids learn ukemi (falling) first, then standing throws (ippon seoi nage, osoto gari) and ground transitions, with optional shiai for kids who want to compete.
