The MFA Boston Teaches Kids Art Inside Its Own Galleries

The Museum of Fine Arts Boston runs a full-service kids' studio art school on-site at 465 Huntington Avenue - classes held in dedicated studios with gallery visits woven throughout, so students draw and paint with direct access to the MFA's permanent collection.

Classes and Camps

Fine-grained age banding and multiple session formats. Options include:
- Preschool (ages 3-4) with adult companion
- Drop-off classes for ages 5-11, grouped 5-7, 6-8, 8-10, 9-11
- Saturday/Sunday weekly 10-week academic-year sessions (fall/winter/spring)
- Summer full-day sessions
- February and April vacation-week classes (Tue-Fri, capped at 12)
