National Aviary - Only Independent Indoor Nonprofit Aviary in the U.S.
Only independent indoor nonprofit aviary in the United States, located on Pittsburgh's North Side. The Aviary houses 500+ birds across 150+ species in walk-through habitats including the Wetlands, Tropical Rainforest, and Grasslands.
Programs for Kids
Year-round education programming. Programs include:
- Summer Camps (toddler ages 2-3 through age 14)
- Caregiver and Me programs for toddlers

Experience
Pittsburgh families use the Aviary as a year-round indoor destination and a structured caregiver-and-me toddler option. The Arch Street location is on Pittsburgh's North Side, walkable from the Andy Warhol Museum and Children's Museum.
