National Martial Arts on Wellsite Drive

National Martial Arts (formerly Victory Martial Arts, founded November 2002 by Steve and Tara Swinford) is a long-running family-owned academy at 3525 Wellsite Drive Suite 101 in central Norman, serving families across Norman, Moore, south Oklahoma City, and Cleveland County for more than two decades. The school teaches a blended curriculum drawing primarily from Korean Hapkido and traditional karate, supplemented with jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and Krav Maga at higher belt levels, so students develop both striking and grappling.

Kids Martial Arts Programs

The kids program emphasizes character outcomes alongside the technical syllabus. It covers:
- Younger groups: motor skills, listening, basic stances and positions
- Older kids: intermediate forms, partner drills, controlled sparring
- Korean Hapkido (redirection, joint locks, throws, pressure-point work)
- Traditional karate striking fundamentals
