Nebraska School of Gymnastics
About
UNL athletic-complex gym at the Francis Allen Training Center
Nebraska School of Gymnastics operates inside the Francis Allen Training Center on the northwest corner of the Bob Devaney Sports Center - the UNL athletic complex. Named after Francis Allen, the longest-tenured head coach in Nebraska Cornhuskers athletics history (1969-2009 men's gymnastics), the facility offers community gymnastics classes alongside the university programs.
Kids programs
Schedule covers boys' and girls' tracks with skill-based class progression. Programs include:
- Girls gymnastics classes
- Boys gymnastics classes
What's Included
- Coached classes by skill level
- University-grade equipment and apparatus
- Training environment shared with collegiate athletes
Experience
Unusual pick for Lincoln-area families - getting kids into the same building where Cornhuskers gymnasts train gives an atmosphere most commercial gyms can't match. The collegiate-coaching pedigree is a real differentiator from typical recreational-only programs.
