North Portland Martial Arts
About
North Portland Martial Arts — Family-Owned Dojo in the Alberta Arts District
North Portland Martial Arts sits on North Alberta Street in Portland's Alberta Arts District — a family-owned dojo where the head instructor and the front desk are the same person, which is the opposite of the chain-dojo experience. The curriculum leans functional self-defense (boxing, kickboxing, grappling) rather than traditional belt progressions, giving kids real fight-capable skills in a non-intimidating room.
