Northern Lights Swim Club — Anchorage's Year-Round Competitive Swim Team

NLSC has trained Anchorage youth swimmers for decades at the Service High School Pool, offering learn-to-swim lessons all the way up to senior-level competition.

NLSC Swim Programs for Kids

Coaches place swimmers by skill level, not age, so kids progress at the right pace. Programs include:
- Learn-to-swim group lessons
- Novice age-group team (ages 6+)
- Junior and senior competitive squads
- Summer splash-and-dash events

• 25-yard indoor pool at Service High School
• USA Swimming-registered team
• Year-round practice schedule
• Stroke clinics and meet prep

Experience

Northern Lights is a volunteer-run club with a strong parent community. Best fit for swimmers who already know basic front crawl and want to move toward team practice rather than a weekly lesson.
