About

Municipal Junior Golf with Year-Round Programming

Old Fort Golf Club is a City of Murfreesboro municipal course running a full calendar of junior programs — from toddler SNAG clinics for 3-year-olds to competitive tour series for teens. PGA and LPGA instructors lead the programs, and municipal pricing keeps everything accessible.

Junior Programs

Five distinct formats covering ages 3–14:
- SNAG Golf Clinics (ages 3–6) — oversized clubs and tennis balls for fun-first introduction, $30/golfer
- Bloomfield Camps (ages 7–13) — summer instructional series covering rules, practice technique, and on-course play, $100/junior
- Bloomfield Linksters (ages 5–14) — team-based Saturday gamedays for learning in a group setting
- Bloomfield Tour Series — Thursday afternoon 6-hole competitions with age-group winners, $85
- LPGA*USGA Girls Golf — girls-focused instruction with split age groups and a Diamonds class for experienced players

What's Included

  • PGA (Emily Miller) and LPGA (Megan Brewer) instruction
  • Municipal pricing — most programs under $100
  • Age-3 start with SNAG format (one of the youngest entry points in the area)
  • On-course play integrated into camps and tour series
  • Parent-Child Scramble events for family play
  • Spring, summer, and fall programming

Experience

Old Fort is the best-value junior golf option in the greater Nashville metro. The SNAG clinics make golf accessible to preschoolers, the Bloomfield series builds skills through camps and competition, and the Girls Golf program adds an inclusive track. The Murfreesboro location works well for families in Rutherford County who don't want to drive into Nashville for lessons.
