Open Arts Studio

Open Arts Studio is a multi-discipline community arts space on North Tacoma Avenue offering kids and adult classes across visual arts, music, cooking, and sewing.

Programs

• Drawing and Painting - school-year cohorts across mediums
• Ceramics and Pottery - hand-building and wheel sessions
• Music - intro instrument and group music classes
• Cooking - kid-friendly culinary basics
• Sewing - machine and hand-sewing skill-building

What's Included

Sessions run 5-6 weeks with 6 classes per session, with materials and instruction included. Summer camps run separately during break weeks.

Experience

Hours run Mon-Thu 11am-6pm, Fri 12-6:30pm, and Sat 9:30am-2pm, with the school-year session calendar running September through May. The breadth across disciplines under one roof makes it easy to sample different art forms across consecutive sessions without changing studios.
