Oxbow Meadows is a Columbus State University environmental learning center along the Chattahoochee River south of downtown Columbus. The site combines indoor wildlife exhibits with easy outdoor trails through wetlands and woodlands.
Family Programs
Hands-on exhibits and outdoor exploration. Programs include:
- Live local wildlife exhibits (turtles, alligators, birds of prey)
- Wetland boardwalk and looping woodland trails
- Chattahoochee Valley ecology programs
- School and homeschool field trip programs
