Palmer Park Junior Tennis Academy

Palmer Park Junior Tennis Academy operates at the courts inside Palmer Park in north Detroit, with summer programming supported by USTA and partnerships including Detroit PAL and Wayne State University. The academy runs June through mid-August across day camps, evening camps, and weekend instruction.

Junior Tennis Programs

Programs cover preschool through teens during summer:
- Day Camps (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-12:30pm)
- Evening Camps (Mon-Fri, 5-8pm)
- Tiny Tennis - intro program for youngest beginners (via Detroit PAL/WSU partnership)
- Tournaments - 10U age group plus mixed Tennis & Pickleball events
- Adult Saturday instruction alongside the youth side
