Saturday Morning Junior Golf on a Real Course
Paxon Hollow Country Club in Media runs beginner-friendly Saturday clinics for kids ages 7–16, taught by PGA Professional Dan Malley. The five-week format wraps up with an on-course session where kids play actual holes — not just range work.
Junior Programs
Saturday morning clinics split by age group:
- Ages 7–11 — 9:15–10:15 AM
- Ages 12–16 — 10:30–11:30 AM
- Spring and summer sessions available
- $135–$145 per 5-week session depending on registration program
- No prior experience required
What's Included
- Five one-hour sessions on consecutive Saturdays
- PGA professional instruction on stance, grip, and swing technique
- Chipping, putting, rules, and sportsmanship covered
- Fifth session held on the actual golf course
- Registration through Marple Newtown Recreation or Haverford Township
Experience
A low-commitment way for Delaware County families to introduce kids to golf. The Saturday morning schedule doesn't eat into the full week, the price point is under $150 for five sessions, and the final on-course day gives kids the experience of actual play.
